Common Pain Pills Pose Hazards for Arthritis Sufferers
But New Analgesic Promises Fast Relief with No Side Effects
By Ken Roth
New York, NY – Many arthritis sufferers depend on aspirin, ibuprofen, acetaminophen and other pain pills classified as Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs or NSAIDs to control pain on a daily basis. However, many users of these products are unaware that frequent use of NSAIDs may produce life-threatening side effects.
NSAIDs work by suppressing hormones called prostaglandins that control the body’s pain response. By suppressing these hormones, NSAIDS prevent the transmission of pain signals to the brain. However, prostaglandins are used throughout the body to regulate many important physiological functions. When pain sufferers use NSAIDs to control pain, they are unknowingly altering the balance of many processes in the body.
NSAIDs were designed to provide temporary relief of minor pain symptoms. And they are very effective for their intended use. But NSAIDs were not designed for everyday, long-term use. That’s the problem. Arthritis sufferers often need pain relief everyday for years. So as arthritis sufferers use NSAIDs over the long term, they are setting themselves up for a wide range of serious side effects.
The most common side effect is bleeding ulcers, which can be life threatening. Liver and kidney damage are also possible. According to the Mayo Clinic, at least 20% of NSAID users will develop side effects. And according to other published reports, approximately 200,000 people are hospitalized every year due to NSAID side effects, while over 10,000 deaths are attributed to NSAID use every year. Furthermore, WebMD recently reported that NSAIDs have now been shown to aggravate and may even cause asthma.
In addition to side effects, NSAIDs may present a new concern for arthritis sufferers. According to Dr. Jason Theodosakis, author of The Arthritis Cure, and other researchers, NSAIDS may actually accelerate the onset of arthritis by inhibiting cartilage regeneration. So while pain is relieved in the short term with NSAIDs, prolonged NSAID use may do more damage to joints than the disease itself. As a result, many physicians are now advising their patients to avoid using NSAIDs altogether.
It’s clear that NSAIDs are not a good choice for long-term pain management, but what other options do arthritis sufferers have?
Fortunately, there is a new product that promises to be an important breakthrough for arthritis sufferers who want an alternative to NSAIDs. Its called Natural Relief1222, and it’s clinically proven to provide powerful pain relief like NSAIDs, but with no side effects. It also has been shown to significantly reduce stiffness and improve range of motion. The product is the result of 14 years of research lead by research-pharmacologist Edward Troy. According to Troy, NR1222 is unlike any pain medication on the market including NSAIDs, counter-irritants, and capsaicin. He also describes the product as the first serious alternative to NSAIDs and the new first line of defense against arthritis pain and stiffness.
In a study conducted by the California Research Foundation, Dr. Milan Brandon concluded: “NaturalRelief-1222 demonstrated clinically significant relief of pain and limitation of motion in patients with rheumatoid and/or osteoarthritis…. Topical use of medication was associated with absence of systemic side effects…. in contrast to ….systemic medications, such as non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs”.
The facts are clear. Arthritis sufferers should stop using NSAIDs. And now there is a legitimate alternative, so you don’t have to go it alone.
